INSTALLING .NET FRAMEWORK V2

if you have difficulties in installing the DOTNET FRAMEWORK V2 . you may follow below procedure:

1. Run dotnetfx.exe. Make sure it is a setup file for Framework 2.0.
2. During installation, it will force the IIS to stop and restart.
3. Restart PC/Server after installation for the setup to complete.
4. Check installation status: Is it completed/ successful?
   1. Use Explorer, look for this folder: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727
5. If this folder does not exist, reinstall.
6. If exist, need to run install ASP.net 2.0 into IIS so IIS will able to supports web application developed using Framework 2.0.
7. In command line, browse to C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727

1. aspnet_regiis is the ASP.NET IIS Registration Tool.
2. Run this program with [option] -I --> aspnet_regiis.exe -i
