STEPS TO CALCULATE KEYWORD: PARAMETERS

Before we start with the calculation, you need to have an idea of your KEYWORD to be used in your hub or blog, of course you have to know about the content or topic your writing about. Do not use too GENERAL KEYWORD with too many competitors (how to determine this?).

Here are the 3 parameters for the calculations:

  1. Total Results (TR)

  3. Total Advertiser (TA)

Below is an example of TR from google search for "MOBILE PHONE" keyword.

TOTAL RESULTS (TR)

I'm sure that by now, all of you would have known what TR is. It is actually the total number of competitor for that particular keyword. The lower the number means better chances.

For TD, it is the total demand or how many people are searching for something using that particular keyword. The higher the number, the better the probability is. To approximately get this number, you may use WORDTRACKER or other FREE SOFTWARE.
